Al Gore Gets The Taiwanese Animation Treatment

June 29th, 2010 Comments off

Allegedly Al Gore hired a legitimate masseuse and kept groping her and forcing her to give him a little happy ending, you know, to cool his ice caps. Well, like any celebrity scandal, this calls for a Taiwanese animation recounting all the alleged details! Anime to the rescue!

Who knows, this could be Al Gore’s really Inconvenient Truth.

Our favorite local morning show guest, Kenny “K-Strass” Strauser otherwise known as Zim-Zam The Yo-Yo Master is back and still pranking chump local morning shows! And now digs deep into his dark past. Remember kids, life has ups and downs, unless your K-Strass. Remind me, what does this have to do with recycling?

U Break It, We Post It: Reporter Gets Parking Tickets While On-Air

June 24th, 2010 Comments off

This is the first of our new feature that’s all about you..”U Break It, We Post It”. Pretty much every news outlet has some way to make you the viewer, help them, the news organization, report the news. CNN has the iReport, FOX News has Sarah Palin’s twitter account, so now it’s our turn to ask you to do our work (without pay, of course). Today’s U Break It, We Post It comes to us from BreakingBrokenNews.com fan David, saying “I feel as thought this should be on BBN.com. ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS!!!”. We agree David. And we thank you for keeping a watchful eye on KTLA to find this clip, just like the parking ticket cop!

Oh and it turns out the Santa Monica PD says parking was not paid for, here’s the official press release (for real):

Santa Monica Police Department released that parking wasn’t actually paid for.

On May 25, 2010, at 8:58 a.m., traffic officers from the Santa Monica Police Department received a call for service from the parking manager of the 1550 beach lot; Central Parking. The caller reported that several vehicles were in the parking lot refusing to pay.

Upon arrival, a Traffic Service Officer was advised by the attendant that eleven vehicles were parked in parking spots and had not paid. The attendant advised that his supervisor approached the news crew at 7:40 a.m. and advised them they needed to pay for the parking spots. The news crew promised to pay for the spaces before 9:00 a.m. When the attendant approached the news crew at 8:50 a.m. to pay for the parking spaces, they ignored him. The parking attendant contacted his supervisor to call the Santa Monica Police Department.

A Traffic Service Officer approached the news crew and advised them she was there to address the issue of not paying for the parking spaces. A representative from the news crew stated they had already paid for the spaces and had a permit. The traffic service officer asked the representative for the receipt and permits. The representative walked away and did not come back.

At 9:20 a.m., the traffic service officer issued four citations for failing to pay to the vehicles that were parked in parking spaces. Although the news reporter stated on the live television broadcast that they had paid for the parking spaces at the time the officer was issuing the citations, the news crew actually paid for the parking spaces at 9:40 a.m., after the citations were issued.
